Hey everyone! I’m Anisa Mukhtar, a senior in high school at Milton Academy in Milton, MA. I was born in the U.S. but moved to Abuja, Nigeria shortly after birth where my parents are originally from. We moved back to the U.S when I was 4 years old and have lived in Massachusetts ever since! Though, we frequently travel back to our home country to see extended family and uphold many Nigerian traditions at home.

Some of my hobbies include baking, hiking, traveling, film & cinema, and photography. I also enjoy reading and researching about history, anthropology, philosophy, gender studies and other topics in the realm of humanities.

I aspire to become a Lawyer in the future, and plan on studying anthropology or women’s studies during my undergrad years!

I mainly started this blog to be able to share some of my passions with people, and also as an excuse to learn more about topics i’m interested in!
